Kayla A. Greaves is an award-winning journalist whose work has appeared in The Huffington Post, BuzzFeed, Teen Vogue, ELLE, Blavity, FASHION magazine, Upscale magazine, S/magazine and more. Using an intersectional and inclusive approach, her work focuses mainly on women's issues, culture, beauty, style and entertainment. Kayla has interviewed the likes of Academy award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o, supermodel Naomi Campbell, TIME 100’s Most Influential People and women’s rights activist Jaha Dukureh, socialite Amber Rose, dermatologist and YouTube star Dr. Sandra Lee (aka Dr. Pimple Popper), founder of Miss Jessie’s Miko Branch and renowned hairstylist Vernon François, among others.

She has been invited as a speaker to share her expertise on topics such as colorism, diversity and being a woman in media at McMaster University, York University, Wilfred Laurier University, Manifesto Festival, the Caribbean Tales Film Festival, and other events.

In 2016, Kayla won a Canadian Online Publishing Award for her work with The Huffington Post. In 2017, she was named on the "Top 100 Black Women to Watch in Canada,” list and was also recognized by the CBC as one of 150 black women making Canada better.
